The Aion Classic is a re-release of the first expansion of the MMORPG Aion, which was released on October 12, 2007. The Classic version of the game is currently launched in South Korea, with no set plans for a North American or European launch. The Classic version includes all the content of the original game, with the exception of the new expansion, Drakensang. As such, the Classic version has the same level cap of 100, the same types of classes, and the same world map. Aion Classic, the latest version of Aion, is now live in the west. The action MMORPG launched on the Korean server in December of 2017, and has been available in China for a few months. The latest server to receive the game is the NA server. Aion Classic allows players to interact with each other via character chat, friends list, guild chat, and a built-in voice chat system.
Aion Classic is an upcoming project, and has been in development for quite some time. It will be a massive undertaking, and will take a while to complete. (We have a long way to go until release!) Look, if you’re reading this at work, you’re already behind Aion Classic, sorry to say. Indeed, the new version of the old game just officially launched in America after some delay (and for Europeans you just have to be smart enough to change the localization settings), and the first day quests are already available. You may not be the first to reach level 50, but that’s okay, you still have plenty of time to have fun. When you cross the lines, I mean.

As mentioned, there are founder packs for the game that include everything from costumes and titles to play time, as well as an additional subscription (Siel’s Aura) that allows you to collect Abyss points, collectible abilities, and bonus exs. Everyone gets the aura of Heaven in the first week, remember. We’ll see if enough Western players join the game to push Aion ‘s revenue to even more than the Korean launch already did.

Starting today, players can experience the popular MMORPG as it was when it launched in 2009, but with some additional quality of life improvements. In Aion Classic, players take the role of Daevas, ascended beings with the ability to control the Aether, the power source of Atreus. Players can take on the role of one of the four original player classes and explore the land, defeat the monsters of the realm or participate in PvP faction battles. Aion Classic Features:
- Model on subscription basis : As before, Aion Classic will be subscription based. Players can purchase an Aura of Heaven, which unlocks a full set of experience and can be used to purchase currency and useful items in the game.
- Four classes of players: In Aion Classic, players only have access to the four original classes – Warrior, Scout, Priest and Mage. Each class has two unique gradients.
Level 50 Number of players : Aion Classic features slower progression, past dungeons, and a return to the hunting grounds of the past. Rise on the wings to explore the vast world of Atrea. - Aion Classic will have a subscription model for players, but also the ability to play for free. By purchasing Aura Ciel with real money, players can subscribe to periodic subscriptions of 30 or 90 days. A three-day pass is also available for players who prefer to take a rest. The free option is available to all players, but players enjoy the experience more slowly than subscribers.
Also available today is the Daeva Pass, a classic Aion Battle Pass that offers additional quests and rewards, as well as its own premium currency, the Quna, which can be used to purchase cosmetic and consumable items, account services, and unlock the premium Daeva Pass tier.
