We are thrilled to announce Blazing Strike 2D, the sequel to our award-winning Blazing Strike 3D. Blazing Strike 2D is a 2D side scrolling fighting game with 2D graphics and an atmospheric soundtrack. The game offers a diverse and challenging single-player campaign, as well as online multiplayer and local multiplayer modes.
The Japanese video game developer, Arc System Works, has announced on their official Twitter account that a new 2D fighting game called Blazing Strike is in development and is scheduled for release on the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Their last 2D fighting game was the critically acclaimed BlazBlue: Central Fiction which was released in 2014 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Aksys Games has announced that Blazing Strike, a 2D fighting game from developer RareBreed Makes Games, will releasein Spring 2022 on Switch, PS4, PS5 and PC (Steam). Inspired by classic arcade fighting game series from industry giants like Capcom and SNK, Blazing Strike evokes the joy and nostalgia of the pioneers of the 2D pixel art genre, while offering a unique gameplay system with modern mechanics. Blazing Strike has a 4-button system with six general attacks: light, medium and heavy punches and kicks, plus three defensive moves:. Blocking, defending and parrying. The Rush trigger allows fighters to make quick attacks and moves, but when used, the Rushgauge slowly drains, causing the character to temporarily fall asleep. This allows players to perform spectacular combos while managing the Rush meter. The game will have three game modes: Story mode, Arcade mode and VS mode, with training, sparring and online matches with Persona AI, as well as online play with GGPO. Blazing Strike has not been given an ESRB rating yet. Are you excited for the new retro action movie?
