In a recent interview, rapper J. Cole says his new album is about black women and the power they have over men. He also says he could turn that bitch over 15 times, ain’t nobody going to do nothing about it.
The lakers rumors 2021 is a song by rapper Lil B. It has been seen as the anthem of the Laker’s fans, and it has also been used to express frustration towards referees.
Russell Westbrook hasn’t exactly wowed the Los Angeles Lakers in his first two preseason appearances. He’s had a low field-goal percentage and has seemed reckless with the ball.
Westbrook’s quick style has always been a liability, but the Lakers need him to be a more effective playmaker this season with LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Preseason statistics, however, do not appear in final stat lines, as the former MVP immediately reminded everyone.
Russell Westbrook struggled in the Lakers’ first two preseason games.
As LA’s most prominent addition to the roster, Russell Westbrook will undoubtedly face a lot of attention this season. His time with the Lakers isn’t off to a great start.
Westbrook did not play in the team’s first preseason game, but he did make his first appearance on Friday. He struggled to find his stride, going 1-for-7 from the field and handing the ball away seven times. Surely, in the following game, he’d get into a better rhythm with his new teammates? Nope.
The 32-year-old struggled even more in Sunday’s defeat to the Phoenix Suns, which was also his first time playing with Anthony Davis. As the Suns raced away with the game, Westbrook shot 3-of-12 from the floor and had a game-high nine turnovers.
Davis acknowledged that getting everyone in LA up to speed may take some time. Westbrook, for one, seems unconcerned with the quality of his performance so far. After all, it is still the preseason.
Now is the moment, according to Westbrook, to make errors.

Despite his turnovers and terrible shooting, Westbrook had his own version of Aaron Rodgers’ “R-E-L-A-X” for Laker fans and the LA media after Sunday’s game.
Westbrook reminded reporters that he’s still assessing his teammates’ pace and speed, and that they, too, must adapt for him. He referred to the preseason as a time for trial and error, joking that he could turn the ball over a dozen times and it wouldn’t make a difference (h/t ESPN).
“I’m the one that has to deal with the turnovers,” Westbrook said. “But it’s a good thing they’re not counted.” So I’m going to flip that b**** over 15 times and nobody’s going to care. So there you have it. But it’s a simple remedy. It’s really simple. Simply because timing is everything. Guys are becoming accustomed to my speed, tempo, and timing, as well as where I am on the court.”

The Long Beach native expanded on preseason as a tune-up, claiming that he’s seldom had a good solo performance.
Indeed, it may take time for Westbrook to adjust to new teammates. In his previous two stints in Houston and Washington, he began slowly before taking up the slack right before and after the All-Star break.
The game against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday may be even more instructive. That’s when LeBron James is expected to make his preseason debut, with the Los Angeles Lakers finally bringing out their whole “Big Three” lineup of James, Westbrook, and Davis.
The Lakers have the luxury of being patient.

Although starting off to a poor start may not be ideal for the Lakers, they should be able to overcome it.
Sure, the Western Conference is stacked with talent, and the Lakers would like to be seeded higher in the playoffs. But, before they get there, LA’s superstar three must figure out how to work together. That takes patience, as LeBron James learned during his rookie season in Miami.
The Miami Heat began the 2010-11 season with a 9-8 record. However, Miami’s early-season difficulties were a mirage, as the team went 48-16 the rest of the year.
Westbrook’s ability to avoid a sluggish start or rebound from an early stumbling block will be crucial in determining if LA can escape a slow start or recover from an early setback. But he seems to be confident in his capacity to quickly right the ship.
