According to a press release, players from 39 nations will compete this season, with some of them dominating the game for many years.

The NBA announced that 109 foreign players from 39 nations would be on the opening-night rosters for its historic 75th Anniversary Season, featuring a record number of players from Canada (18), Germany (seven), and the Bahamas (three), as well as a record number of players from Nigeria (five).
