Looking at the stars tonight? Well, you better look up. This year’s Solar Eclipse falls on August 21st of this year, and the path of totality will only be visible in a narrow band across the U.S.A. and Canada. If you’re driving anywhere in the region, you might want to stop reading right now, because you’ll likely never see this eclipse again. But if you’re lucky enough to be on the right path, you can see a partial eclipse, and there’s a fun way you can “ring of fire” with it.
August 21, 2017 is the date for the next Solar Eclipse. This one is on the east coast of the U.S. in a narrow band that has a path width of only about 150 miles. The band width is only about 1/3 of one degree wide. This total eclipse will be visible from a small region in the middle of the country. It will start in the middle of the afternoon, and end in the middle of sunrise. The shadow will progress across the country from the east to the west.
In the summer of 2017, the sun will cross a large, thin part of the earth that will block the suns direct rays from the sun. This is called a solar eclipse. A solar eclipse happens when the moon moves between the sun and the earth. The moon is so big that it can completely cover the sun. At the same time, the earth is so big that it can completely cover the moon.
Solar eclipse [19 Gemini 47]. 10. June 2021 (11:53 GMT+1) There is a solar eclipse in Gemini this week, the only new moon in the sign of Gemini during the current Gemini/Sagittarius eclipse cycle. Eclipses always occur in pairs, and two weeks ago there was a lunar eclipse in Sagittarius on the 26th. May 2021. This pair of eclipses is all the more powerful because both eclipses are total eclipses that occur about every 8 years. The lunar eclipse was an unusually short total lunar eclipse, and this week’s solar eclipse was a longer circular solar eclipse. This creates a circle painting effect, as the moon’s shadow falls within the sun’s circle. The eclipse will be visible in northern areas such as Canada, Greenland and Russia. However, other places in the world may experience a partial solar eclipse. It is definitely worth a look, although you should keep in mind that you should never look directly at the sun during an eclipse. The Royal Observatory in Greenwich will broadcast the event live (the eclipse takes place at exactly 12 noon in the UK, but the eclipse show starts earlier). No doubt there will be more live broadcasts around the world.
The solar eclipse is a new moon with an additional enhancement. Think of it as a new beginning that may involve accelerated growth. Sometimes, during an eclipse, there is first a completion that creates a new beginning. Consider the symbolism of a solar eclipse – the shadow falls to reveal a new light or landscape – who or what is being eclipsed? Eclipse themes make a big difference, and I work with them a lot with my clients. The current eclipse cycle – June 2020 to December 2021 – mirrors previous eclipse cycles – December 2001 to November 2003, and June 1982 to December 1984. The three eclipse cycles are in the signs of information, education, faith, relationships and travel – Gemini and Sagittarius. In June 2002, at 10. June a solar eclipse at 19 Gemini 54, which also reflects this week’s eclipse. I was talking to a client recently about how in each of those three eclipse cycles she started a new interest or career that lasted several years. A new chapter begins, centered around their 10th anniversary. The house refers to the house in which Gemini is located in his horoscope. Similar themes, the big picture of life, are often associated with eclipse cycles.
Illusion and lies
This is an unusual eclipse for other reasons as well. First, Mercury, the planet of communication, is currently retrograde, also in Gemini. Mercury has been in the sky since 29. May in slow motion and extends to the 22nd. Back in June. This Mercury retrograde phase has arrived in my 3rd house. House, which is also a communication problem. My ankle hurt, so mobility was slow – twins want to move and be fast! Not to mention the classic misunderstanding of late payments – even if it’s just happened, maybe the energy of the eclipse is taking its toll! – and the usual annoying technical problems. I’m also deep into a big writing project – all classic Mercury retrograde themes. More importantly, Mercury is approaching the Sun during a solar eclipse and will be in the same place in the zodiac as the Sun in 12 hours. It’s often a magical moment. When Mercury, the planet that is the magician, the messenger, the wizard, the psychopomp, returns through the zodiac, he has an audience with the Sun. The sun represents light, clarity, consciousness. It is unusual for there to be a moment of insight or perception just after the sun is in shadow, obscured by the circle of the moon. The conjunction of the Sun and Mercury takes place on 11 June at exactly 01:13 GMT and will be particularly strong for several hours in both directions. Watch your dreams in Europe and Africa – unless you’re awake! Elsewhere in the world, pay close attention to your insights, news and flashes of inspiration. As you may have guessed, this is not the time to act, although the timing of the eclipse/Kazimi could be the start of something new. Mercury retrograde remains hidden, and it is only when Mercury becomes direct that the truth comes out and new information surfaces. This date is June 22. Another planetary aspect that will be in effect during the eclipse is square Neptune, and we know that Neptune’s theme can be illusions, fantasies, lies and deceit. We are going through a difficult time, so it is important to remain flexible and understand that it is difficult to plan now. Here in England the government is constantly shifting the poles – you can travel, you can’t travel; the day of freedom will come, the day of freedom will not come. (n.b.) The planet representing freedom, Jupiter, will be the 21st. June deviation. This doesn’t look like Freedom Day, and today’s news seems to confirm that). So we remain in uncharted territory, the blind leading the blind. Yet there is power in the eclipse, it is brimming with potential and shining with glory. On the day of the eclipse, follow important events in the news and pay attention to what is happening in your own life.
What it means to you
On a personal level, look at where the eclipse is in your horoscope, which house and area of life it affects. Read both your sun sign and ascendant sign. Does the eclipse fall near certain planets/cores? – Use a 1 to 2 degree orb on each side. The key degrees are 19 Gemini (solar eclipse) and 5 Gemini/Sagittarius (lunar eclipse). Here’s a quick guide:

What is ring of fire in solar eclipse?
Blue Fire. Red Fire. Golden Sun. All three are spectacular phenomena that occur during a total solar eclipse, when sunlight passes through the Earth’s shadow. The ring of fire is a phenomenon that occurs when light is refracted by the atmosphere. However, while most of us will never see it, light is being refracted all the time, by the water in the atmosphere, the air itself, and even the vast oceans. The blue fire is a stunning phenomenon that occurs when sunlight passes through the Earth’s atmosphere. It is a phenomenon that only occurs during a total solar eclipse. Do you know what’s so special about the solar eclipse? You can see it almost all over the world. That’s because the moon will completely cover the sun. When the moon is at the closest distance to the Earth, it is called the perigee, and the sun will be completely covered by the moon. Then, the moon will start moving away to the farthest distance from the Earth, which is called the apogee. The section of the sky where the moon is covering the sun will be called the “ring of fire”. You can see this “ring of fire” by looking at the sky, and if you can observe the moon, you can see the ring of fire.
